Professional Basketball
Yesterday after I got out of class I was invited to my friends house to watch some of the NBA games that were on. I accepted as watching basketball is one of my favorite activities and is even better with friends. We began by watching the Chicago Bulls versus the New York Knicks. This was a very entertaining game that was down to the wire, but Chicago would end up with a narrow victory. The really significant game that night however was not Chicago versus New York. The Memphis Grizzlies put on a display of dominance over the Oklahoma City Thunder that has not been seen ever in the entire 75 year long history of the league. The Grizzlies beat the Thunder 152-79, a margin of 73 points. The previous record was set by the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Miami Heat, with a 148-80 final score, and this was all the way back in 1991. You rarely get to see this type of dominance by anyone at a professional level, and even though I only got to see a part of this game it was exciting to have witnesses sports history being made.
