October

 

    Today is the first day of October 2021. Fall is my second favorite season and I don't insider Fall to have begun until it is October. Fall is so nice because it finally begins to cool down after the hot Summer months. I like it more than Winter because it is cool but not cold and I like to wear light jackets.      

    Normally during this time school gets easier as you get more into the rhythm of things. Plus the appropriate food selection changes around now. Soups become more appropriate and I would consider soups to be my favorite broad food group. The dessert selection also gets a massive upgrade with apples and pumpkins taking the spotlight.

    October also contains Halloween, which is usually a fun time. Many people don't celebrate it and it is not a federal holiday, but the mod change in the air as the day approaches always puts me in a good mood.
