Cedar Point

 While over break I took a short road trip to cedar point with 4 of my friends. Cedar Point is one of the most popular amusement parks in the world and is located in Sandusky, Ohio. It is not a short drive but is easily doable in a day which is what we did. We stayed at the Days Inn for a single night on Friday and actually experienced the park on Saturday. It has been 3 years since I have gone to an amusement park and it is one of my favorite activities. The last one I went to was Six Flags: Great America. Cedar Point has roller coasters that far eclipse the ones at Great America though. Unfortunately, the better coasters come packaged with longer lines. These were the longest lines of my life. I had to wait almost three and a half hours in line to ride the Steel Vengeance. It was all worth it however. I have read that the Steel Vengeance is widely considered to be the best roller coaster in the world and I am inclined to agree. Overall I would absolutely make the trip again, but not during their October festivities due to the extended lines.
